Acne

A bump appeared on my chin like 2 days back and I knew armageddon has come alive - to my complexion. My most feared skin condition is not pimple nor zits nor the black and white (heads), but these seemingly harmless bumps that evolved to major disaster.

Right, so why disasterous? Aside from the ugly swell and pain, it leaves scars - even when you did nothing to it. Yup, nothing. Not even touching it. And the sinister swell simply kills you by leaving a huge patch of darkened scar at the particular area. Vicious. Well, I eventually reckoned it's caused by the over applying of pimple cream that dries up the oil glens, which of course, dries the skin like some sahara desert.

And when the skin starts peeling off, that's the start of everyMtFkthing.

While the skin is flaking, the pus gets increasingly visible. If you think it's finally time to pop/squeeze/extract/whatever it, you are in deep shit. Before you know it, you are actually digging deep into the wound, as if doing a minor surgery.

And what do you know, the pus still seats itself comfortably deep, deep in (wonder how deep it actually is) laughing at your stupidity while you desperately try to extract the "seed" out. Conclusion - you are left with an ugly hole that is bleeding profusely. (That's why I say, a minor surgery)

I actually had the nerve to do the above for infinite times.

So, am not going to do that anymore. Derived my own compilation of method to diminish it. For people who are facing similar problems as me. Random jialat jialat acne that is. Would probably like to read on.

* * *
1) Never, ever apply pimple cream more than twice a day. If the acne is fully "grown" (obvious swell without any yellowish pus), don't even bother to apply anything. Cause it only dries the skin. Just make sure that area is not over oily. If there really is a need to apply pimple cream to make you feel better, do it at night before you sleep.

2) DO NOT (and I mean it, ladies and gentlemen. DO NOT.) apply mosituriser and do face masking as the contents in the essence are meant for nourishing the skin. Thus, nourishing the pimples/zits/acnes as well. Causing it to swell more. You know, like those wicked acne actually "eat and grow fat". Ok, make it OBESE.

3) Maintain your usual facial cleaniness. Twice to three times a day is good enough. Even for very oily skin. Avoid excessive cleansing as: i) it dries your skin, ii) our complexion, however, still need moderate amount of oil. Over cleansing it will only cause the oil glen to produce more. Why? Because we are made this way. Ask mother nature if you must. I'm sure she will be more than willing to tell you why.

4) Don't go hand itchy and touch the area. (Obvious right?? People who do not know why should be punished by having mor peng, pimply face for good)

5) No exfoliation. Totally. Exfoliating will only aggitate the problem area. People, if you are one with constant breakout and problematic skin, bade exfoliating products goodbye.

P.S. The above works for me. It might not necessarily work for others but there's no harm trying cause I think the above majority are home treatment rather than remedy, that everyone should as least do if they want clear complexion.
