Hi, my sweetheart (ep 9) *spoiler alert*

Watching the episode now. And because I don't have the time for screenshots, I'll just make this text one. Pics up when I got the time already?

Good thing is, because I'm writing this as I watch, which means there'll be more details! ^^

We can see BaoZhu slowly falling for XueHai (yes, XueHai. Not DaLang) in this episode!

The sneaky XueHai whom instructed the waitress to put laxative into YanFeng's fruit juice, drank the drugged one himself because the cups were mixed up. Karma, baby. Karma.

Walking back into their respective room, while YanFeng was about to enter BaoZhu's room, XueHai protested and claimed YanFeng was trying to take advantage of BaoZhu while he is feeling unwell. Of course, his protest wasn't obliged.

He signals for BaoZhu over, and whispered "dangerous!" to her. Causing BaoZhu to chuckle a little at his silly-ness.. (Love this scene alot!)

Back into the room, XueHai becomes a peeping tom and starts stalking at the opposite pair. Just when he saw them almost kissing, his stomach starts churning..

Damn the laxative! LOL.

The 4 agreed to went on a double date. And because of the (darn) laxative, XueHai keeps farting on their way to the destination. BaoZhu gets dissed and remarked XueHai a farting devil! (Funniest scene I swear I laughed to death)

Photobucket

Due to an incident, XueHai slipped and fell into the pond. Reminiscing, he thought he would be resuscitated by BaoZhu once again.

Photobucket

But was done by YanFeng instead this time round. xD XueHai gagged upon learning this.

Out of spite, the rivals decided to compete in jet-skiing to see who is more gutsy. They will be driving towards each other's direction, the one who ducked will be deemed the loser. BaoZhu worries for YanFeng. (And secretly, for XueHai..)

Photobucket

Who won? Are there fatalities? You go find out. :)

(And why are there so many challanges in this episode?! Stupid Xuehai)

Back to the hotel, XueHai challanges (sigh) YanFeng and BaoZhu to a drinking game. Needless to say, the leading actor and actress are the biggest loser and drank the most... =="

Frivolous as it seems, XueHai the drunkard walked to BaoZhu's room because he wanted to sleep with her. (pun UNintended)

And tells the equally drunk BaoZhu he, is DaLang. And strips of his pants (!!!)

Photobucket

Lying beside XueHai (whom she thought was DaLang), memories of the past came haunting her.

Photobucket

Looking at DaLang, BaoZhu ask, "Where have you been all this while..?"

DaLang replied he's been around all the while.

BaoZhu: "Why is it I can't find you..?"

DaLang: "It was me who couldn't find you... why did you leave me..?"

Ohmigosh, the saddest part of the entire episode:

BaoZhu: "I didn't leave you.. Why didn't you wait for me..?"

DaLang: "I thought you didn't want me anymore.." (Awwwww! Puppy! Any guy who says such phrase I usually call them puppy I dunno why. It's endearing. Your heart melted too, didn't you?)

BaoZhu broke into tears and told DaLang how she had been trying so hard to locate him all these years. DaLang exchanged his thoughts by telling BaoZhu how he had been waiting for her all these years...

Climax of the episode! The scence went blood pumping by showing the 2 kissing passionately *blush* and then before we know it, the entire tear-jerking romance ended. T.T

Photobucket

Word.

Am going to leave you guys till here~! Since rest of the part is not as interesting. The trailer for coming episode looks promising people! YanFeng learns from XueBo (XueHai's eldest sister) that XueHai was hurt in a relationship back when he studied in HangZhou.

Looking at those similarities, how could YanFeng be stupid enough to not find out the truth right? He must have found out XueHai is DaLang all these while after hearing what XueBo told him. And I guess he hid the truth from BaoZhu in fear of losing her to XueHai, DaLang, whoever he is!

=============================

Finally this drama is back on track again. Previous episodes kinda bore me and got my fingers tapping at the table. Heh.

I haven't watch Autumn's Concerto episode 13. Was it good? ^^ Vanness tweeted the ratings went further up again! Kudos.

Till then, loves.

P.S. Saengil Chukhae to Ukiss's KiBum! a.k.a Baby Hyung Joon's little brother.

Hi, my sweetheart (ep 8) *spoiler alert*

This episode it is almost a continuation of previous, on how XueHai courts BaoZhu. Only difference is here, we can sense a little bit more of jealousy from XueHai than the usual hatred for BaoZhu.

Photobucket

Also, we can see how defensive is BaoZhu when DaLang's name was mentioned and humiliated.

Oh, another difference is, the present from XueHai upgraded. From diamond necklace to private condo...

The 2 had a fight again after XueHai brought BaoZhu to view a private condo claiming it's for her. BaoZhu finds XueHai absurb to waste his money this way, XueHai claims which girl doesn't fancy cash and gems and the gorgeous boyfriend.

Photobucket

BaoZhu stands firm on her decision and again, tells him she DO NOT fancy him nor his This time XueHai confronted BaoZhu, if she has ever ditched anyone before just because he is poor.

BaoZhu stomps off in anger (& half antagonised) and went "to chill".

Photobucket

Eh.. Random. Dunchu think this Big Tom bears an awful resemblance to Haagen Daaz?

Photobucket

Here's where XueHai insulted DaLang outside the ice-cream parlor..

PhotobucketPhotobucket

And get punched by BaoZhu. xDD (I love my last screenshot)

BaoZhu insisted to quit her job, the 2 quarrellsome ones went back to his office in continuation. XueHai refuse to let BaoZhu quit (for whatever reasons), BaoZhu felt she can't bear to part with her audiences.

They made a pact. XueHai is to promise BaoZhu 3 of her requirements. 1 of which is not to insult DaLang in any sense. Again, XueHai was perturbed why BaoZhu is so protective towards DaLang yet she chose to hurt him back then.

Photobucket

BaoZhu stay on (of course). But only to invite more trouble. From XueHai's eldest sister that is. Learning BaoZhu hit her favourite baby brother, Xue Bo invited BaoZhu to their house for a meal and picks on every-single-thing she did. Childish way of avenging her sibling eh..

Photobucket

Alright, that's about all for the hi-lights of episode 8. Getting quite boring. How I miss the DaLang BaoZhu in their uni days. Well, episode 9 seems more promising that this but again, I feel the misunderstanding between the 2 will drag for another at least 1 to 2 episodes before the air is finally cleared.

Happy boxing day hunnies! Love, Jinxed.

Hi, my sweetheart (ep 7) *spoiler alert*

Nothing too interesting in this episode. Main revolves on how XueHai courts BaoZhu.

After changing to a new dress, (original dress was splashed with red wine by some rich old pervert) BaoZhu got to know from XuePei that her brother bought the entire radio station for BaoZhu.

Photobucket

Further in continuation to XueHai's revenge/courtship, he invited BaoZhu for dinner in a posh restaurant and ready to present her with an expensive necklace for "the start of their relationship".

Happily.fantasizing.Baozhu.head.over.heels.over.him... =.="

Photobucket
Photobucket

Only to be woke up by the familiar yet cruel voice of Chen BaoZhu.
(me laughs sarcastically at XueHai)

BaoZhu was turned off by the sight of her filthy rich but annoying playboy boss alone already, least to mention her accepting the gems he presented her.

In his office next they, a commotion between the 2 came up. XueHai was trying means and ways to convince BaoZhu everything could be bought with money and she can choose to live life the easier way simply by being his girlfriend. She could have everything she wants. (now even I'm turned off by his speech while typing this.. thou' no one has yet or ever told me that before.. xD)

BaoZhu ended their conversation by comparing XueHai (I keep wanting to type DaLang) to Mr Pervert Huang. Stating Pervert Huang was much more easier to handle in comparison to one like XueHai. (harsh x 100%!)

Photobucket

Behaving like a total spoilt brat outside BaoZhu's place, she had no choice but to drag XueHai into her house in case he catches a cold.

Photobucket

Looking at the asleep (or fainted?) XueHai intensely, BaoZhu still could not get over with the fact that both him and DaLang looked so identical...

Photobucket

Half asleep, XueHai calls out 寳珠姐..

We all know, there's only one person whom calls her that..

And that is DaLang.

Hi, my sweetheart (ep 6) *spoiler alert*

Episode 6 revolves mainly on DaLang Xue Hai and BaoZhu reuniting after 3 long years. Xue Hai's 2nd sister's admirer was confessing his love for her over a radio program which happened to be hosted by BaoZhu.

Upon hearing the voice, Xue Hai could recognise her voice almost immediately. Having said so, he bought over the radio station just to be able to get things clear.

Photobucket

After becoming the official boss of the radio station, Xue Hai asked his secretary to give him a copy of the TianXinShiJian (Literal translate: Sweetheart's time) host's particular.

Photobucket

And his guesses were confirmed.

After some thought, he decided he will have his revenge towards BaoZhu (ahhh.. who says malevolence can only be found in women?) for her dumping him 3 years back. The plan was to make BaoZhu fall in love him and his new identity of a rich, attractive man.

And dump her afterwards.

He sent for BaoZhu. Only to allow BaoZhu in after he had rehearse his pose and speech. =_=" (leopard never changes its spots..)

Photobucket

Where BaoZhu was startled beyond words after seeing XueHai, thinking he is the DaLang (which he is..) she had been searching for all these years.

She managed to call out the name "DaLang.."

And DaLang had butterfiles in his stomach after knowing BaoZhu still remembers him. =.="

Photobucket

But immediately calms himself down in order not to be exposed. He had to continue his rigor revenge.

Photobucket

Back home, BaoZhu loses her cool and went ballistic on Yan Feng. Explaining how she spent 3 years searching for DaLang and suddenly a person looked almost identical to DaLang was standing infront of her moments back she can not be calm about it.

Photobucket

She felt apologetic towards Yan Feng. He had been loving her all the while and all she did was to avoid. Afterall he did nothing wrong to deserve such a response.

Yan Feng on the other hand, was relieved at BaoZhu being apologetic. He hugged her, and says "I'll wait for you to take the initiative."

Photobucket

Awkwardly romatic I feel. Kinda weird for a guy to tell a girl he's waiting for her to take the first step but yet again, I feel such honesty can be quite alluring at times. Thou' not all the time, baby.

BaoZhu decides to find things out too. She asked Boss Xue Hai out and start asking him questions.

"Have you been to other places for studies?"

Photobucket

The smart Xue Hai reckoned she's getting suspicious and answered,

"Of course, I had been to Canada"

(details omitted fyi..)

"So.. you haven't been to Hangzhou?"

Photobucket

Xue Hai replied, "Of course I had been there!"

=======================

And scene. Well it's not difficult to guess what he'll say next. Anything logical to prevent BaoZhu from getting suspicious. Like, he's there for business trips etc. Easy.

Not a very interesting episode I'd say. And episode 7 doesn't look too exciting to me either. What say you?

Better focus on Autumn's concerto instead. ^^ Annyeong!

P.S I really have to rant about this - the purchasing of tickets for Persona Bangkok concert is driving meanie and I crazy. Really should have tap on the SG TripleS.

Tried to call their hotline but our lan line are not IDD activated..

Called Singtel and opt for IDD activation, done. BUT! Activation takes 1 working day. And tomorrow I have lesson. By the time I reach home, no one's gonna entertain me in Bangkok right..

I must say, it's the first time for me (us) spending so much money to go overseas just to see 5 boys younger than me I tink I am wholly insane.

Why aren't they coming to Sg? Why why why? Or at least M'sia!!

Hi, my sweetheart (ep 5) *spoiler alert*

This was the episode that changed everything. DaLang got ditched (well, kinda) by BaoZhu. The heart-broken dork had a 360° change in his personality (erm, kinda).

Alright, it wasn't exactly BaoZhu's wish to dump DaLang. In fact, she persisted to the end. If not for her (evil, obstinate) mum's doings.

Tsk, what's with the evil, obstinate mum in every drama? Can't they do without it?

Photobucket

Mediocre and materialistic like all evil mums in all dramas, likewise, BaoZhu's mum objected her relationship with DaLang and forced her to get married to some rich man instead, claiming she doesn't want BaoZhu to end up like her, paying the debts of BaoZhu's father he had owed due to his business's failure.

Evil mum then threatened BaoZhu she would try her means and ways to obstruct DaLang from graduating if their relationship continues.

Needless to say, BaoZhu was war-torn between the decision of protecting DaLang and ending the relationship.

And like I mentioned, she wasn't ready to give up the relationship. No matter how tough are things going to get. She wrote a note to, informed her mum that she wouldn't be coming home early, and left the house (to meet DaLang). That note, was some serious mistake she'd definitely regretted writing it.

On the other hand, DaLang was preparing to surprise and propose to BaoZhu.

Photobucket
Nice ring.

Alas, BaoZhu got into a car accident and went semi-unconscious. (Drama drama drama!) Leaving DaLang waiting for her arrival not knowing what happened.

Now here comes more drama. BaoZhu was so worried about her date with DaLang she climbed down the bed. Literally.

And start crawling on the floor?

She reminds me of Sadako from movie "Ring". When I was pretty sure the doctors or nurses will come pulling her back to the operation theatre (because she's in the midst of an operation duh!), they didn't. =.=" No one was there to stop the poor girl from her frivolous crawlings. (And of course she HAD TO faint. Else how long are we expecting her to crawl? 500m?)

She missed her chance to see DaLang. Worst, her mum told DaLang she went Europe to get hitched to some rich man's son. *jinx getting grouchy*

Forlorn boy went back and complained to his mum sister.

Photobucket
Feels like killing him..

Nevertheless, DaLang, like BaoZhu, wasn't ready to give things up as yet. He ran (literally!) to where BaoZhu was residing, only to be greeted by the evil mum.

Remember the note BaoZhu wrote? Yes my love, the evil mum showed it to DaLang and went on breaking his heart even more infinitely. The note was supposed to be a blatant lie BaoZhu wrote to appease her mum and, to stall for time. It turned out however, the most concrete and effiective reason to convince DaLang that BaoZhu was really bent to end things.

Photobucket

And scene. Gonna stop here. 'Nuff spoilers baby.

It's kinda agitating to see such misunderstanding. Yet it's almost an inevitable template forall dramas. The classic-est way to hook the audiences' appetite.

Coming back to reality, I thought Rainie's acting was somehow, near to perfection already. I mean, this episode of her being totally heart-broken after learning the news that her mum lied to DaLang (ahh.. more spoilers. can't help it) and she could never find DaLang again - it truly breaks my heart to see her wailing like what she did in the drama.

So, 2 thumbs for her! Looks like princess cutsey had been polishing her acting skills quite well.

Hi, my sweetheart (ep 4) *spoiler alert*

Ok I confess! I skipped ep 3 because I was in the midst of my exams and gotten a little unenthusiastic to blog about it after watching ep 4. Heh heh.

Speaking of episode 4, here it is!

DaLang and Baozhu finally got together as an official couple in this episode! Very cliche scripts but again, this is what we, the audiences love isn't it?

I hearts the mini DaLang and Baozhu here. ",)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Loving their chemistry already. Can you imagine they were once enemy-like and treated each other like "air" whenever they see one another? News reported they cleared the air already, so they are pretty much good friends now. ^^v Peace.

Photobucket

What surprises me was the some 4,013,917,236,587 kisses shown is this episode. Here's one where DaLang kissed BaoZhu after she won the Miss Sweetheart paegent (or something like that).

Photobucket

This was during the firework surprise DaLang gave BaoZhu. Why the surprise? Beats me. It wasn't elaborated in the drama but my take is, they celebrated their first year together.

Photobucket

Episode 5 looks good! DaLang is heart broken by his first love and changed 360 degrees from dorky to drop dead gorgeous.

Something's wrong with my photobucket's sizing again I can't upload some of the pictures. Took me alot of effort to save them you know..

So I guess.. I have to say goodbye here.

Photobucket

Thursday, November 12, 2009

Hi, My sweetheart (ep2) *spoiler alert*

Now this is what I call dumb, but totally entertaining. Unlike the ones from Momo Love.

Photobucket

DaLang: I don't know how to take a bus..

BaoZhu: Hangzhou's buses and Taiwan's buses

BaoZhu: They are the same!

DaLang: But I've never took Taiwan's buses too..

BaoZhu: Just how old are you already!?!

BaoZhu: Fancy not knowing how to take buses!

DaLang: Tw..twennnnty.

BaoZhu: Ugggh! I AM NOT REALLY ASKING YOU YOUR AGE!!

Omg I laughed to death at this.

Episode 2 was fun-filled with the usual violence of BaoZhu towards DaLang. Deeper emotions of BaoZhu were also seen in this episode.

Further elaborations of Baozhu were narrated by the school's "3 flowers" (puke) that she committed theft and ditched her ex-boyfriend simple because he was no longer rich.

However, DaLang was unconvinced and went against their warning..

Episode 3 seems equally interesting! This is good. :)

=======================================

"你這個會迷路又不會坐公車害我找不到資料還敢肚子餓的驚世駭俗醜不拉嘰香菇頭!!" - BaoZhu

"哇。。 我的綽好越來越長了耶。" - DaLang

Watching "海派甜心" / "Hi My Sweetheart" *spoiler alert*

Xue Hai was a certifiable dork when he first arrived in Shanghai. After his schoolmate Bao Zhu saved him from bullying, she became his first love. Then, a misunderstanding caused them to lose contact when she moved back to Taiwan. He thought she dumped him. So he transformed himself from a dork to a hunk in order to seek revenge.

Source: wiki.d

I thought this is a must-watch consider I liked both leading actor and actress. Watched the 1st episode and here's the verdict. The storyline took off with Show's character as Xue Hai (whom eventually told to use a fake name "Lin Da Lang" by his eldest sister because of their wealth and such that she is afraid people might kidnap Xue Hai) who has "never seen the world" and very much, eager to break free from his possessive sister.

Having said so, Rainie's focus wasn't much other than a few scenes here and there to sketch her role as "Chen Bao Zhu", one who is determined as notorious and disliked by many of the classmates. Other than the innocent Da Lang (Xue Hai) that is.

If you ask me I'd say the aftermath of watching this 1st episode, it very much resembles "Miss No Good" / "不良笑花" starred by Miss Yang too because of the over-exaggerated expressions and little animations here and there.

Speaking of over-exagerrated expressions, that's Show Luo's forte. Like it's strength, it is a weakness too, I feel. Audiences are so used to his usual overstretched reaction, it brought us no surprises when acting as the dorky Lin Da Lang. (However, the naiveness in Da Lang tickles me a little)

Well if that's the case then I guess it has to depend on Rainie and the storyline already.

Which I think it will be pretty interesting! 2nd episode and they kissed. Uhh.. technically they kissed in the first episode, but that was when Bao Zhu tried to resucitate the Da Lang who was trying to save Bao Zhu.

Ep 2 preview (screenshot)

*patiently waits for 2nd episode to release*

This is so random. Beast / B2st - Bad girl is actually quite good..

"Hyung Joon ni-er, Hyun Joong ni-er... Hyung Joon yi-er" that's about all I can even decode despite sticking my ear to the speaker with maximum volume..

Hyung Joon baby sounded so steadfast in the interview! Omo! I cannnnnot stress enough how mad charismatic HJB was at that point of time!. =^^=

Lol'd @ 4D leader spacing out during Jung Min's interview and his usual attempt of doing some simply outta the box aka his wonderous escapade of dismantling and experimenting with things he gets hold on. Tsk! Why they so cute ah?!?

YYYYYY

海派甜心 - The 4th idol drama I'm about to go after.. =.=" First episode out BUT! Loading had been the s.l.o.w.e.s.t.

I swear Xiao Zhu looked his most idiotic in his lifetime ever. So much so I feel it kinda reflected the drama as an unpromising one. I still heart him nevertheless. Moreover, most of Rainie Yang's dramas had been quite result satisfactory so I guess it shouldn't be too off-ed.

Plus I'm really curious what will be the outcome of their synergy. I dunno bout you, but the only recollection I had of them collaborating was in Show's MV - 小丑魚 about 2 centuries back.

Clock reads.... 2.23am now. I really need to go mug now. E-Commerce at this hour = FML

Ok bye.
