Autumn's concerto (ep 15) *spoiler alert*

Episode 14 we know GuangXi regained his memory and had a huge fight with MuChen. Learning that XiaoLe is his own flesh and blood, he was bent on winning XiaoLe's custody.

Worried by what GuangXi said, MuChen planned to HuaTian village with XiaoLe. Since the main reason why MuChen might lose XiaoLe's custody is because she is a single mum without stable income, to assure MuChen she'd win the lawsuit, TuoYe proposed.

(Geez, it's so annoying to see how enthusiastic GuangXi and MuChen in such hostility. When they were so much in love. Reminds me of reality how most couple claimed to love each other till death *roll eyes* and yet when they parted, things goes sour. And I mean, really sour)

GuangXi went crazy, literally, upon learning TuoYe planned to marry MuChen and provide XiaoLe an entire family which he will be blissful in. He starts reciting the past inappropriate behaviours of TuoYe, his seemingly aggressively personality and his not-so stable income. On top of that, GuangXi uses underhand means and created trouble in TuoYe's mum's restaurant.

Rat. Chinese saying, "氣得我牙癢癢的". (Meaning: So angry I'm biting/grinding my teeth)

Then again, I'm glad GuangXi went crazy. Crazy with jealousy.

XiaoLe was perturbed with GuangXi telling him he is his father. Time and time again, GuangXi tried to explain to XiaoLe, but XiaoLe was too used to what MuChen told him - "Uncle GuangXi is not your father."

Overwhelmed with exasperation, GuangXi threatened MuChen to marry him. But claimed it's not because he loves MuChen, but because his son needs a mother and he is aware his son needs his real mother. (well, all of us know that that's not entirely the case, right? GuangXi you selfish, egoistic liar!!)

On the other hand, YiQian was kept busy explaining to her friends and relatives why the wedding was called off..

Show of hand who wasn't touched at the part where the father was consolling the daughter? You wasn't? Whyyyyyy? Heartless.

YiQian looked for GuangXi and hope they could be friends after what happen. Learning GuangXi's plan, YiQian felt GuangXi's so-called revenge was actually his undiminished love for MuChen..

The 2 officially ended things after GuangXi thanked YiQian and admitted he truly loved her before. Truly. (If you missed this part then you might as well don't watch the entire episode! In my opinion, I love this scene most! The music was cued peffectly I tell you)

MuChen eventually relented to marry GuangXi. Needless to mention, GuangXi treated MuChen with much hostility and coldness.

Despite the other side of him didn't felt happy at all doing this to her...

Autumn's concerto (ep 14) *spoiler alert*

The previous episode, YiQian found out XiaoLe is GuangXi's child after the commotion of the blood transfer. After the surgery, MuChen went to find YiQian, who was at the hospital's balcony. YiQian was agitated with MuChen lying to GuangXi about XiaoLe and she, was worried, what if GuangXi suddenly remembers everything..

GuangXi's mum met MuChen at the hospital and gotten jumpy that she might remind GuangXi of the past. Thus moving up the date to 3 days later.

GuangXi had a short chat with his teacher. Asking him what exactly happened before his brain surgery. His teacher mentioned recapping his past is like a pandora's box, no one will know whether it is good or bad...

While washing off (XiaoLe's) the bloodstains from his wristband, an USB card dropped. GuangXi plugged it to his laptop instaneously.

And unveiled his past he so badly wanted to know.

Finally, the moment of truth. GuangXi remembers everything.

On the day of GuangXi and YiQian's marriage, MuChen went to their church to finalise the decoration. She saw the piano and reminded herself of her childhood days and those short but blissful moments spent with GuangXi.

And got startled by GuangXi.

On the other hand, YiQian was anxious prior to the wedding. Whether or not GuangXi will come. (What d'ya know? A woman's instinct can get eerily accurate at times)

Agitated as he is, GuangXi drove (recklessly) MuChen to the scene where he was stabbed. The 2 had a heated argument. GuangXi's love for MuChen turned into hatred.

Despite MuChen telling GuangXi she had no idea he was being stabbed, h went on blaming MuChen for her wrongdoings all these years - his agony of being left behind. The betrayal. The fact where MuChen told XiaoLe GuangXi was not his father, separating XiaoLe and him over and over again.

Evil mum hurried to YiQian upon learning that GuangXi wasn't at home nor the church and he was last seen out of the church with MuChen.

Needless to say, GuangXi cancelled the wedding with MuChen. MuChen was grief-strickened to see GuangXi's message - A picture of him and MuChen, titled "My Love" (my favourite part of this episode! Tiffinay Hsu was amazing!)

Ending of this episode showed GuangXi rebelling his mum. Like how he used to be. He is bent on getting XiaoLe back no matter how she is to going to object to his idea...

Autumn's concerto (ep 13) *spoiler alert*

Tear-jerking episode again! My eyes were welled up at least 3 times watching this.

Previous episode, we saw from the trailer where YiQian confronted MuChen. The beginning of episode 13, YiQian admitted she already knew who MuChen is.

YiQian reproached MuChen's doing all these year and claimed she should not have left GuangXi. Even more if MuChen were to know how helpless he was after his neurosurgery. While MuChen was teaching XiaoLe to speak and walk. GuangXi on the other hand, was scared. Because he lost the ability to recognise, to speak and to even call his mum.

Because he didn't remember how to do so.. (first scene that welled my eyes)

Guilt-ridden, but MuChen still kept her secret well and chose to let YiQian misunderstand the whole story. TuoYe came to her rescue shortly.

Back in MuChen's house, TuoYe finally confessed to MuChen his feelings for her all these years. He did not want to see MuChen suffer any longer thus he seek for her acceptance to the relationship. For TuoYe to take care of her and XiaoLe.

MuChen agrees. TuoYe was overjoyed.

All only to be witnessed by ChiXin and GuangXi, who were standing quietly outside.

XiaoLe stood in silence while looking at GuangXi who was preparing to leave. Seeing XiaoLe's grief, the equally upset GuangXi went over to pass him his address and lucky wrist-strap.

The whole parting scene from GuangXi talking to his son to his son chasing after the car was heart-wrenching. (2nd scene that welled my eyes)

- Reminded me I did that to my dad when I was young too. About 3-4 yrs old? ^^ I stayed in M'sia with my nanny while dad visits me (from Spore) every weekend. So when he leaves and IF I happen to wake up (they usually coax me to sleep first), hah hah, Dad would be in trouble cuz I'll take chase with losta crying~ LOL.

Saddening!! Sad people watch this will become depress. Depress people watch this will become suicidal. Suicidal people watch this will become... ghost. xD (Can you see I'm trying to ease some of the tension here? Hmm? My blog is a happy place!)


Night falls when XiaoLe talks to his mum about how he misses uncle GuangXi and wonders if Uncle GuangXi will miss him too. Seeing how much XiaoLe misses GuangXi, MuChen finally admitted to herself she misses GuangXi alot (3rd scene that welled my eyes) and let her tears flow..

Remember the heartbroken ChiXin? She finally decided to leave TuoYe. This time, for good.

Why does this screencap and her dressing reminds me of those people in a red-light district...

I'm starting to like her alot. If it's not for her annoying accent.



From the trailer we were pre-emp XiaoLe would go look for GuangXi in Taipei. Without MuChen knowing off. Upon reaching his office's building, XiaoLe happened to pick up some dropped document by Granny aka GuangXi's mum. (drama will be drama..)

Details omitted. XiaoLe fainted because he hasn't had his daily injection and hurt his shin. The wound was bleeding profusely, XiaoLe was sent to YiQian hospital by GuangXi's mum.

XiaoLe requires type B blood transfer but again, coincidentally the hospital was short of type B.

(jinxed: Funny. See ah, type O can save any blood. So don't tell me the hospital also short of type O blood? *roll eyes*)

Anxious MuChen requested for her's to be transferred because she's type O but was rejected by YiQian bacause there might be complications if it's direct family member's blood donation.

GuangXi and TuoYe both qualified for the blood donations but MuChen exclaimed, "GuangXi can't do the donation! He cant!"

Word.

I've watch episode 14 already. GuangXi went beserk learning the truth! Omg. K lah, wait for my hi-lights. ^^ Tarah lovelies.

Autumn's concerto (ep 12) *spoiler alert*

3 loud cheers to GuangXi winning his case against his father-in-law!

Without sweat. =.="

Just when I thought there would be a tough and tenacious fight against the baddie XuFangGuo, GuangXi won the suit with just less than some 10 sentences said to father-in-law. Even got very good compensation from him. Anti-climax you know..

Thou' father-in-law was a little dissed with GuangXi, but still, everything was settled with a few words from future son-in-law.

Well, get over and done with. This drama is not about lawyer fighting legal suits, but the love story between GuangXi and MuChen. Forgive me for being too carried away with my lawyer fantasies..

After the celebration of GuangXi winning the case for them, he and MuChen hurried back home due to a coming downpour. While resting, a sudden thunder reminds GuangXi of that faithful night. Again, a blurry image that resembles MuChen arises.

But no matter how GuangXi pleaded, MuChen simply refuses to conceed to tell him the truth.

MuChen sprained her ankle, out of goodwill GuangXi offered to carry MuChen home in case her sprain worsen.

And they had to to bump into YiQian *facepalm*

Annnd just when we thought she would flare and start throwing her expensive heels at Guang Xi, she appeared all so angelic and hurried GuangXi to carry MuChen into the house so that she can doctor MuChen's sprain.

Gosh, how can anyone hate YiQian and hope for GuangXi to go to MuChen at all? Don't tell me this drama will end with GuangXi happily married with YiQian and MuChen chose to lead her own peaceful life with XiaoLe. Afterall GuangXi truly loves YiQian despite the memory loss and YiQian treated GuangXi with all her love she could possibly give...

Episode ends with the showdown of both woman of GuangXi's present and the past. Idk what's gonna happen with the love triangle seriously. Which makes me rub my hands and waits patiently..

Autumn's concerto (ep 11) *spoiler alert*

Alright, because I soooo slow, such that most or else, everyone had watched this already there's no need for a spoiler. Heh. I'll do the hi-lights instead.

Recapping on the previous episode, it stopped at GuangXi being confronted and accused as the spy of HuanYu enterprise.

This episode, it mainly illustrates how GuangXi truly tried to help the villagers in getting their plot of land back. After much pleadings for the villager's forgiveness, that is.

Ok details aside, since I presumed most of you had watch this already. Instead I'm going talk about her: Hua ChiXin

Remember the semi-retarded (omg I'm so mean. but I'm talking about the role. not the real person alrightey?) girl who is absolutely infactuated with TuoYe? The one who speaks with the weirdest ifeellikeslappingher accent? I totally hated her for the imprudence she showed towards MuChen.

TouYe breaks her heart by telling ChiXin he only treated her like a younger sister. Needless to say, she was heart-broken and with much difficulty accepting what she heard despite she already knew TuoYe didn't even liked her in the first place.

You know, just when I was sniggering at her pathetic-ness. These scenes came up.

I don't know who this actress is. But definitely not someone too popular nor too senior in the showbiz.

But I thought for a newbie (I pressume), she did the above scene well. In fact, don't you all think she looks rather pretty? Even prettier than when she was not crying. Haha.

I kinda grew a liking for this actress. Pretty potential calibre of a leading actress I feel. Uncanny but I'm hoping to see her in other drama as the leading role.

Now, back to the episode.

GuangXi and MuChen had to do an act infront of the governor of environment (??) in order to obtain his loopholes so that GuangXi could use that as evidence to fight the legal suit.

Well well what do you know, MuChen's looking mighty gorgeous over here isn't she?! Check out the curves! (she did that on purpose?)

Cliche as it is, the 2 got locked inside the music room (where their feelings blossomed previously) while escaping from the chase of the.. governor of environment's assistant? Or whatever is the title. As long as you know what I'm talking about.

Feeling familiar, the music room (or rather, now a store-room) creates a series of flashbacks for GuangXi. Startling MuChen.

GuangXi, determined to remember his past.

He saw flashbacks of rollerblades, scratch marks...

And he was right.

The last screencap was the preview of episode 12, where he found the key to the music room's door. And maybe, just maybe - the key to his heart...

Autumn's concerto (ep 10) *spoiler alert*

So my guess was right. Guangxi did not regain his memory. The trailer showed us the part where Muchen was telling Guangxi what happened to her husband.

In turn, she used the opportunity to express her thoughts to Guangxi. Of how happy she was during the time spent with him, how she sees him looking so happy even without her and vice versa and how XiaoLe was the most precious gift he had given her. Truly heartbreaking scene if you ask me.

The episode illustrates mainly, the development of feeling from Guangxi towards Muchen and XiaoLe. XiaoLe (and the rest of the children) were told to bring their parents to a parent-child school event, where the parents and thier kids would perform.

XiaoLe was upset with the fact that he hasn't got a dad. And Mum reprimands (again) that he should not bother Guangxi nor calls him dad anymore.

The boy was depressed. Because he made a pact with HuaHong (that little spoilt fatty) that he'll definitely bring his UFO daddy! Or else TangTang (the little girl with two pig-tails) will not play with XiaoLe anymore.

(tsk tsk tsk, childhood adolescence. speaking of early maturity eh?)

And so the girlfriend (TangTang) pleaded for Guangxi's arrival. In the most ridiculous outfit I've ever seen Vanness worn other than his F4-one-length-long-hair days. *facepalm*

Laughs at the 2nd screencap. That boy's expression is priceless.

Note to meself: If future husband appears in such outfit at child's nursery, divorce him.


This part was possibly the most heart breaking scene of the entire episode.

XiaoLe thank Guanxi for helping him out and confessed he knew Guangxi was not his dad nor his dad was from outer space. Those were merely white lies Muchen told him to make him feel better. The ending went well. Even little fatty HuaHong was amazed by XiaoLe's action.


Back home, Guangxi teaches XiaoLe how to blade. Muchen remembers the story Guangxi told her in the past (episode 2?), of how his late father taught him blade in the music room, let go of his hand without his knowlege and made him fall. Painful but possibly the happiest moment of his life.

Muchen: Why did you choose to teach him blade.. of all things?

Guangxi: Instinct probably. It feels like, if I'm a father, what would I want to teach my son?

(Gaaaaahh! He IS your son you dumbass! *pulls hair* Someone goes into the monitor and tell Vanness that please!?! Gaaah!!!)

While blading, Muchen fell down. (you have to watch it yourself baby, if you wanna know how and why she fell)

Very sweetly, Guangxi offered (half-forcing) to apply medication for her.

And Muchen reminiscent... making her eyes swelled with tears.

The last part of the episode showed how Guangxi tried to help the villager. Which he was not supposed to do so. He helped them neverthelessly and started his investigation on why his father-in-law (to be) was so bent to acquire the land.

And ended with TuoYe confronting Guangxi in his office that he was a spy sent by HuanYu enterprise all along.

Well that's all! Another 1 week of lonnng wait before we get to watch episode 11. It's getting MORE and MORE interesting I have to say. Wonder how Guangxi is going to remember things, with his truly loved and own son surrounding him day and night.

Autumn's concerto (ep 9) *spoiler alert*

Hokay! Ready?

All we all know, Guangxi was sent to HuaTian village for 240 hours of community services because he kick some ass of some scoundrel.

Coincedentally he was arranged to live with Muchen. Earlier episode Guangxi met Xiaole (his son whom he has no idea nor any memory of obviously) whom very "telepathtically" addressed Guanxi as his dad. But was later on corrected and lectured by Muchen that he was just a lawyer employed by the villagers to fend the sale of the land.

Still unaware of the fact that Guangxi had already lost his memory, Muchen was still inevitably affected when she sees the ring on Guangxi's ring finger. She braced herself up nevertheless.

Guangxi's memory loss was later revealed to Muchen. Thinking it's better for the both of them, Muchen makes no attempt to refresh Guangxi's memory, even if she feels heart-broken. Afterall they've been through so much..

Muchen pretends not to know him when Guangxi asked.

Speaking of telepathy.. the very sweet Xiaole..

Burst out laughing seeing the squashed face.

Rest of the episode basically mentioned Guangxi's working life in the village as a consultant, where he tries to convince the villagers they should sell away the plot of land, got into a hot debate with Muchen and saved a villager from committing suicide (possibly the most hilarious way you can think of saving one's life).

The couple of days in HuaTian village with Muchen got Guangxi's attention.. (starting to grow found of her already? Unlikely, since he's so devoted to fiancee YiQian)

He began to truly understand the villagers and their situation and gained more humane.

(woah! it just occurs to me that I've made spoilers for the whole episode?!?!)

Muchen was very much delighted with Guangxi's effort to save the villager and gave a little smile at something Guangxi did because it reminds her of the past..

Little did we know, a little smile from Muchen draws a series of flashbacks for Guangxi.

這是我來到這裡之後，你第一次對著我笑。 - 光熙
This is the first time you smiled at me after my arrival. - Guangxi

Whether or not he did he regain he's memory, remains a mystery until episode 10! But it seems like he did regain his long lost memory, looking at the trailer.

He really did? I'm not sure really. I mean, isn't it abeeet too fast for him to remember things? This is so unlike the usual scripts. Just from a smile of Muchen?! Not like she's some ancient goddess who has spells to make one remember things long forgotten..

But I'm looking forward for the answer nevertheless! What a way to make us anticipate. I'm sure the ratings will go beyond our imagination. Kudos to Autumn's concerto!

AH AH AH! SEE SEE SEE! She loves him, he loved her, he doesn't remembers her and he got engaged with someone he didn't loved.

What am I talking? Yes, it's the latest episode of "Autumn's concerto". Funny yet irritating! Gahhhh! (watching halfway when typing this)

SETTV idol drama ‘Autumn’s Concerto’ ratings have reached a new high. The second female lead Tiffany Hsu’s character is very loveable, making the audience unsure of whether to support her or the female lead Ady An.

Last week, ‘Autumn’s Concerto’s storyline entered a new phase. SETTV expressed that not only did ratings reach a new high of 4.25, the 15-44 year old segment rating also reached a new high of 5.7. Looking at the comments, I was quite surprised to see a handful of negative feedback made towards Ady An (MuChen) and her over polished acting skills. Either that or her miserably few expressions.

So, I thought I was the only one feeling that way. No doubt the big-eyed girl is pretty but I guess it just took too much of her overall prescence from her work. Looking at her doed eye sometimes just gives me the headache because the camera was focusing so much on the teardrops rolling from the eye.

You know, chocolate is good, too much chocolate kills the craves.

Anyways, my 2-cents for Tiffany Hsu (YiQian). Not too sure if its solid truth, but anyone knows she the girlfriend of Ethan Ruan? Ok rumours one side. I guess the only impression Tiffany left for me (otherwise most of us) was her role in "It started with a kiss" as the conceited and annoying student whom thinks she's perfect and deserves no-one imperfect.

In a nutshell, it was a what I often say, "irritating woman" role.

It was (still) hard for me to be convinced YiQian was all nice and sweet and all. My mind is still stuck with her being the irritating woman. Albeit she did appeared kind and truthful in Autumn's Concerto lah..

I'm obstinate. T.T

Vanness Wu ditches F4 image

Vanness Wu finally ditches previous left impression as a member of F4 and is enjoying his new title as "Ren Guang Xi" from Autumn's Concerto.

My exact semtiments, too. Plus, they are too old to be called F4 already, considering the characters in Manga "Meteor Garden" and the F4 gang are only high school kids..
