Beauty tips for the eyes - Remedies for dark circles

Few of the well-known remedies to ease dark circle:

1) Cucumber slices

One of the many remedies we girls know that reduces puffy eyes. While eye bags seemingly creates an effect of dark circles because of the casted shadow, reducing the puffiness eventually aids in reducing dark circles.

There are 101 ways cucumber that aids in achieving a supple skin, you may wish to get facial products with cucumber extracts in them.

2) Tea-bags: Tea bags are especially effective to use on dark swollen circles because the tannin found in tea helps eradicate puffiness - Source

(Note: Be careful about what type of teabag you use. If you have allergies a tea bag like chamomile might swell your eyes - Source)

My vote goes to Green-tea bags instead. Chill it for awhile and place them on your eyes. Soothing.

3) Concealer: Dab some over the dark circle to even out the contrasted tone. I personally don't advice this because it's rather harsh especially to use it on such delicate skin like the lower lids.

These seems feasible enough, takers may want to try them out:

1) Potato juice
I read that potato has bleaching agent in it, extracting juice out from the potato and applying aids in lightening dark circles.

Bleaching agent - I wonder if it helps in whitening too? Then I can use it for the body. Problem is, how the hell am I suppose to extract the juice out from the uncooked potato? Shall try it someday.

2) Cut down on the intake of salt - because it retains water which leads to most cases of puffy eyes.

3) Consume more vitamin K

in short, it means eat more of your greens. (I thought that's vitamin C?)

4) Cut down on the intake of fluid before you head to bed - similar to point 2.

5) Exercise, exercise and more exercise - good news and bad news here. Any perspiration before a good 30 min workout (with a heartbeat rate of 120 times I think) do not burn fats. That's the bad news. Good news is, it helps reduce the excessive amount of fluid in your body.

Remember this? I said I'd love to try point 11 - using crushed aspirin to heal blemishes. I gave it a go yesterday night. Be back for the updates. XO.
