CNY galore

Did I mention I only managed to grab my new year clothes and stuffs on the very last minute? I almost die-ded I tell you. And it felt like the whole world was doing last minute shopping because everywhere was packed as hell.

Some of the stuffs I grabbed:

Photobucket

A clutch and a something generic for work. Both from Aldo.

Photobucket

Eyedust, matching pair of earring, and a janet-tempt-me-to-buy-because-it's-2-for-$32 O.P.I nail polish.

And then it's CNY eve! Mum said she lost 2kg during that few days of buying and cooking and cleaning. Poor Mum. I helped a little by helping her wrap her infamous ngoh hiang k!

Check out the amount of food my parents had stored. I shall not criticize too much because it's inauspicious. Anyway, leftovers means 年年有余. We are supposed to prepare excess food such that it significants you are blessed with extras every year.

Bro had to work night shift on reunion day! How inhumane!

Photobucket

Rained.

Photobucket

And so I started taking pictures of my 2 little imps. The 3rd one was resting at home because she's a new born and I haven't got a chance to visit her yet. Heard from dad that this youngest one is a beauty.

Photobucket

"Ah ma's cooking nice?"

Photobucket

"Did you eat alot alot??"

Photobucket

"姑姑 pretty not???"

Photobucket

Such an honest kid. Tsk tsk tsk.

Addicted, my nephew started making me take pictures of him with all sorts of silly actions.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Made me take pictures of him eating his crackers...

Made me take pictures of my dad when he's not aware...

Made me take pictures of his backside...

Photobucket

Made me take picture of him hugging plush tweety...

Photobucket

Made me take pictures of his sole. 0____0

To be continued.

PlazaSing Ba chor mee - LAO NIANG IS BOYCOTT YOU!

Btw, some stuffs I'd wanna warn you guys about:

If you happen to be dining in the foodcourt of Plaza Singapura, PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THE BA CHOR MEE STALL. TMD tork people's hard earn money only.

Stupid aunty will ask you casually: "Mixed lah hor?"

And so people will usually reply, mostly in bewilderment: "Ya??"

That's it man. You're conned. They charge $5 bucks for that sinister bowl of mee gia and minced meat with 3 fishballs.

Worst, it tastes horrible. Extremely soggy noodles, pathetic amount of minced meat, stenched fishballs. No difference from ba chor mee left overnight I tell you.

Project H²

If you are wondering what is H², it's High Heels.

I reckon some of you might not know my jargons. *beams at Mr. Pie*

I've been depriving myself from buying heels for the longest time you can possibly imagine! From 1 - 2 pairs per month to 1 pair in like, I dunno, half yearly?

Can die right???! Even the air smelt fresher after I started grabbing new heels.

*Hugs*

Gimme more gimme more gimme MORRRRE! *ROAAAARRRS*

3 pairs of new heels is unforgivably inadequate but acceptable for a start.

You have NO IDEA how difficult it is for me to get a pair of heels because the sizes are always out! Either that or the design sucks big time. And boy you're so wrong to think my Project ends here.

Polar FA20, Kose Seikisho

Ok. Said eons back, I'm here to blog about my Polar FA20 and Kose Seikisho mask white.

This gadget I bought was in black albeit the white one looks nicer on printed. Settled for the black one because (1) the white one looked damn cheapo, (2) white gets dirty and yellowish faster. Considering this watch had to stick with me on my sweaty wrist, boring black seems the safest.

Retailing at approx. $200 in major RSH where it's cheaper in the Marina Square outlet because GST is excluded. I got mine at around $160 because there are sales going on. Which reminds me, got voucher somemore! (shit. dunno expire already or not) Forgot how much was it already.

Am not going in-depth with the technical specifications because it's just not my cuppa tea. All I can say is the Polar FA20 looks quite stylish when worn. With the primary function of a watch of course. Date, stopwatch, alarm clock etc.

Then with a secondary function of measuring your calories, running distance, steps taken etc.

Some pics to illustrate.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Random discussion with Kym couple of days back concluded that the watch must be worn tight in order to increase the accuracy of detecting your pulse. She had an issue with the watch always indicating that she had a lazy day despite it's non-factual. Whereas I thought it was quite easy for me to get a "Intensive day. Excellent" feedback.

===============================

Kose Seikisho mask white. I had this tried in comparison with Bio-essence's peel off mask with pine pollen. Can't seem to google any images of the latter so please bear with me.

Imagine biore pore pack. Those that comes in black. Damn shiok when you peel off and start microscoping into the lil' white heads that are yanked out right?

Well Seikisho mask white is like having pore pack all over your face. Ouch.

Apply them on you eyebrow and I swear they will be clean gone when you peel off the mask. Like brazilian wax clean. Brazilian wax.Gone.Cleaned.Waxed.Brazilian.

My first attempt was hellish-ly pain and mild burning post effect. Prolly because my face was rather sensitive with all these yanking and extracting impurities stuffs. I remembered my first encounter with the pore pack got me all teary.

By the second time I had Seikisho mask applied, I was addicted. With an affordable price of $35, this peel off mask is a must grab I think.

However, the mask comes with quite abit of fragrance. People with sensitive nose might find it overpowering. So watch out.

Remember, DO NOT APPLY THEM NEAR YOUR BROWS OR YOUR HAIRLINE. Don't say I never warn you all hor!

Happy Chinese Niu Year y'all

Qi ge long dong chiang dong chiang! Yi qi qu bai nian!!

Photobucket

*burn firecrackers*

I heard there's gonna be a half eclipse on the first day of Chinese New Year, is it true?

And rumour says it's actually unlucky to watch an eclipse on the day of New Year? Hmmm.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Am very into the digging in past unsightly photos of mine nowadays. LOL. But that's not what I'll be hi-lighting today.

Photobucket

It's kinda blurry. But this classmate of mine apparently scare the hell outta me years back. And I really mean ghost-scare-me-to-death-scare.

Not too sure how many of you remembered this local produced horror movie called "The Maid", but it sure left me a vivid impression.

Boo! Scary right! Tmd.

Saw the resemblance?

I haven't stopped complaning to my primary school classmates since the day I watched the movie.

And I'm gonna complain again....

"Wah lao!! Of all things, she chose to act as a ghost and go scare people!"

Oh by the way, I was able to watch the movie with no inch of fear after I realised the ghost was actually my classmate. Can laugh somemore. Sweet.

Feckking smart arsehole...

Via Sankaku Complex

"A university professor (62), who taught logic, over a twenty year period called over a thousand of his female students to his office, where he would beguile them with logic into allowing him to fondle their breasts."

"His technique was bizarre, but highly logical:

First the professor would call his chosen students to his office, for a lesson in logic: “I can touch you without laying so much as a finger on you” he would say."

"The perplexed students would naturally tend to respond “Impossible.”

If they did, he would follow through with “If I can’t do it, I’ll give you ¥1,000."

Sounds fishy huh? I suppose most of us would walk away without even answering his questions but inevitable that there's still some gullible ones out there whom will say: "Oh, alright then!"

Well then sister, you've just exposed your breast to some old man's fondling...

"If the student agreed to the “wager”, he would immediately pull out his wallet, hand them a ¥1,000 note, and then begin brazenly fondling their breasts."

"Those students who complained of sexual harassment or worse, he would silence with the following line of argument: “As you in fact gave verbal assent to the contract and accepted the ¥1,000 fee, the contract is complete. It’s meaningless to try to take this to court.”"

Chao turban.

"He continued this same tactic for some 20 years without issue, and his victims are thought to number over a thousand. None it seems could overcome his logical arguments, or possessed knowledge of the fact that illegal contracts are unenforceable."

Venturing into....

Eyedust.

Albeit many new found interest tempting me and my moolahs in investing 'em, I decided I still like makeup the best!

Albeit times are bad and I ought to tighten my belt a lil', but I still like makeup the best!

Albeit I hardly put on makeup nowadays because I'm too lazy to do so, but I still like makeup the best!!

See those ticks ( a) ? My chosen ones.

From Make Up Store

Info via http://shanalogic.com/

Much as I'm afraid of puffiness due to over-shimmering the eyes, eyedust adds extra pigmentations and effects on the overall work. If it's properly done and collaborated with the correct eyeshadow that is. Never will I use eyedust on its own. Too glam.

P.S. Colleague showed me a mini Victoria Secret mascara yesterday and me thought she's showing me her new bought. It was actually a gift for me. Without any rhyme or reason.

Sweet. Whole world know' I'm into cosmetics.

Quiz

Photobucket

I'm Liv!

So much for hoping I could be Emma! Cuz I like Anne Hathaway more. Teeheehee. Okie, I'm behaving too juvenile-ish again.

Much as expected, Kate Hudson starred Liv and the Anne Hathaway, Emma.

Defination of "Liv"
You’re a girl that gets what she wants. Some people may say you’re domineering and aggressive. But we like to think you’re not afraid to march to your own beat. You live you life the way you want and it’s worked out perfectly. It may lead to a few arguments now and then, but so what! You didn’t get where you are today by being a pushover.

Friends and family are in awe of your courage and love you for being exactly who you want to be. Likewise you’ll always be the first one to stick up for them if they’re in trouble. You crave the finer things in life and have no problem indulging in them. Success, the high life, with good friends to boot.. It isn’t often that someone can live their life the way they’d like but you do it with style!

Beaty updates soon! (I hope)

Hokay~ the network seems better now so I'd better grab the chance to blog.

Some stuffs I had in mind to blog:

1) Review on Baking soda, Kose Seikisho Mask White (which is actually, black in color), Bio-essence Marvel mask with Pine Pollen,

2) My not-so latest bought Polar FA20 watch,

3) Project H²

4) Some tips for falsies maybe?

I've mentioned earlier lesson's gonna be intensive from next week onwards plus exams henceforth so it'd have means yours truly would be seriously tortured till end March.

*roll eyes*

Nevertheless I'm in love with blogging.

See if I can do anything in CNY.

WhEEeeEeeEeee~

Aside from that, some digression.

THE THOUGHT OF PIERCING MY TONGUE IS STILL NOT DIMINISHING! It's so pretty.....

I know I've said it the thousand-th times yet not executing it because I haven't had enough moral support. In fact, the whole world's telling me it's awful and yes, I do care about the perspective of others. So, sigh....

Battle of the white veils - Bride Wars

Guess what!?!?!?!?!

2 of my all time favourite actresses are starring in the movie called "Bride Wars".

Photobucket

*drama eyes* omg this is so exciting I'm jumping up and down. I haven't watch chick flick since eons back because I reckon it's all too cliche to simply dump my $10 watching them.

Ugh, I'd rather watch horror ones. But this... this... this is... aiya! I want to watch lah!!

==========================

P.S. Office network still as slow as ever and the desktop at home can't seem to attract me in anyways, away from the tv set in the hall which explains the lack of blogging. (Yes I'm blogging at home now! Today was exceptional cuz' I'm watching my serial drama online)

P.P.S. 3 days of lesson every week starting from next week onwards! I'm getting grouchy already.

Until the network improves... so long people!

Random boliao-ness

Wah piang the network here in my office has been snail-like slow since last Friday and it's really a murder.

Imagine this, 20 pictures and it took me almost 4 hours to finish browsing - that's how slow it is.

It takes an average of approx. 3 minutes to load one page, with errors that is. You got to keep one refreshing the page for the entire page to be successfully loaded.

I spent 2 hours to reach 3 websites.

Infuriating!!!

As a result, I was damn efficient today. Ahead of schedule. Not to mentioned today was rather hectic with quite abit of liaising everywhere - work, school, personal.

Moi over-zealous amount GB Ipanema sandals. 2 of which kor bought for me and 1 I bought after the vertical marathon which, I haven't got a chance to wear.

Looks like I need not buy sandals for the rest of 2009 already...

=___='''

The very post xmas gift exchange with Annie because (1) I'm busy and couldn't meetup, (2) she's busy and couldn't meetup and (3) we are both e.x.t.r.e.m.e.l.y busy and couldn't meetup.

Magical weekend

I probably had the most juvenile-ish weekend. Other than my monthly visitation to the dental and meeting Annie dear for lunch being the only time I moved around, my big-fat arse was pretty much stuck on the couch and I was in constant denial of my training for the upcoming marathon.

Tsk tsk tsk. Ill-discipline me.

These explains my juvenile-ish weekend!

Watched Ponyo on Friday

Totally.cute.Period.I'm.poison.by.their.theme.song.ponyo.ponyo.ponyo~~

Then we have Tinkerbell and Bolt on Saturday

Oh gosh I think every girl should watch Tinkerbell lah!! I watched it twice during the weekends! If you call yourself a girl with real childhood, then go watch this. Magical world, pretty pretty things and bling bling magic dust and yada yada yada~

Ok~ I weeped a little watching this. Gawdt I'm a total sucker for dogs I (yes, even animated ones. enough ok) and totally hands up whenever they make those wheezing pitiful sounds. Makes me feel like the biggest villian in the world.

Anyways the hamster was a total disappointment. Thought he was somehow cute from the standee but turns out he's a dumbo.. *ahem*

I'd prefer Mittens, the black cat. Albeit am not a fan of nekos, let alone black ones.

Random laugh

"plywood run day boo"

"ken lee tulibu dibu douchoo"

Harppi Niu Ear!

Some people I'd wanna credit... (very grossy mossy, but still... period)

1) I wanna thank Kor² for my 2 pairs of new GB Ipanema and his effort to be active in my life,

2) I wanna thank my besties for still being my besties thou' I secretly loathe you people at times. Wahahahaha. Seriously, that part was a joke.

3) I wanna thank Han for sending me the link to watch Ponyo online. Totally rock. But streaminig kinda slow, ain't it?

4) I wanna thank my colleagues for being loony buncha companions whom are more often, enduring my crankiness.

5) I wanna thank people whom left their footprints in my life. You people are still remembered dearly by yours truly.

6) The surprise sms. Very kind gesture of yours, albeit I think you are half gone.

What else? I love daddy, I love mummy! And world peace!! *snort snort*

Cut the crap, see pictures see pictures.

I got blue lashes that day!

Photobucket

I swear it's not entirely blue. Mixture of black and short strands of electric blue. Sounds creepy but what the heck, it's New Year!

Oh, I must give my sincerest apologies for bringing them to the incredibly congested steamboat place for dinner!! Sorry sorry! But undeniable that the food was good, eh?

So the group march on to Riverside Point for some drinks. Oh the Humanity, place was in full core turmoil.

I made everyone vouch for me that she was drunk even before I can even present any alcoholic drinks to her. Check out the look on the face, she looked high even before the session started. *slaps forehead*

My bro's idea of countdown: Buy a cake. Make a wish. Blow the candle. Jane told me he requested for 2,009 candles. Madness. =__= Everyone was asking me who's birthday was it. Even I asked him if he's celebrating anyone's birthday.
