Self-made electric chair, kills 5

Via http://mosnews.com/weird/2009/05/29/chair/

Copied and paste the gist:

"...killing one man whom he lured into his garage by posting a classified ad on the Internet claiming he wanted to buy some computer parts. Then, the maniac tied up his victim and put him into the car, wrapping his body in electric wire connected to a powerful capacitor.

While staying in the pre-trial detention center, the criminal said that he also planned to make a device that would erase people’s memory with an electro-magnetic ray. "

What.is.wrong.with.these.people!.!.!.?.?.?.? Siao or what?!?!

Ok fine, they ARE siao. But I'm more perturbed with why would it make them like that. Can it not be prevented?

I mean, we weren't borned to be that vicious wad? How great a turmoil must it be to turn someone like that? Or how weak a person's mind must it be in order to adopt such psychotic behavior?

First, I hear people talking about cannibal posting ads on the internet in search for victims to be eaten and there actually are people willing to sacrifice, then now people diy-ing electric chairs to electrocute innocent people?

Seems to me, the ficticious plot for gore and horror movies are turning, quite real. Then again, if one is able to come up with such a plot, one will have the capability to turn it real.

Sooner of later such things will happen in Singapore. More and more people turning psychotic because of the increasingly stress and lacked of opportunity to destress.

Hmmm, probably that's a good business segment for entry. No not those mediocre spas and massage and stuffs. Something more unique.

But maybe the barriers for entry will be slightly higher because in order to establish the business, one has to learn how to be armed with protective skills in order to fend for beserk customers. Hah.

Oh, the person providing the destress service must possess great patience and high EQ. Me? I'll probably kill those bersek customers before they kill themselves. :P

Sorry for the digress, got too carried away.

Coming back to the topic, evolution of the internet and virtual world - really aren't that safe isn't it?
